"Hi we all have a bump or a scar that we want to cover so you are in the right place. My name is Sylvia Russell and this is how you can cover a scar with makeup. Now Carrie here our beautiful model has a scar right underneath her eye and it has healed up very very good. It is a scar from years ago but in some cases or when wearing some makeup it can be very visible so the first thing I'm going to do is choose a concealer that can hide the scar or kind of diminish it a little bit. So what I am going to do is as you can see I have used a concealer that is a little bit lighter and I'm simply going to pat the concealer directly over the scar like so. Now the most important thing you want to remember when concealing is blending. Blending is very very important so as I begin to blend you can see that what I am doing is just trying to make the whole area look exactly the same. So I am starting to widen my area and using the taping motion I am actually just trying to move that makeup into the entire area. Then I'll go in and pat with my finger and I'll just continue to move that product around until I start seeing it diminish and you can do that at home as well. You just want to continue to apply the product where it is needed and tap it and as you begin to see the scar diminish, you just kind of take your finger and move that product around and blend it out. Once you have completed that you can go ahead and take a powder in the same shade or a little bit warmer if you like and just simply dust it, continue to blend where needed and continue to dust and there you have it. That is how you hide a scar with makeup. My name is Sylvia Russell and thank you for watching."
