"Okie-dokie. Choosing the right color is very important. Hi. Are you green, blue, or hazel? Eyes, that is. Well, today, you're in luck. We're going to show you how to choose shadow colors for your eye colors. My name is Sylvia Russell. Now, if you like to use shadows that complement your eyes, you want to listen up. If you have green eyes, look really good into your eye with a mirror because, normally, there's other colors in there, and those will help you choose the right eyeshadow colors for your green eyes. Now, if you have green eyes, you might want to use some peaches and some mauves, some rusty colors that will help enhance your shade. If you have brown eyes, you might want to use some peaches and some creamy colors to help enhance the eye colors as well. Carrie, here, has, like, a hazel-brown, and so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go in with, like, a little bit of a bronze-y mauve-y color, and simply go in to enhance her shade. And I also, when looking at her eyes, saw these colors in her eyes as well, and that's a good clue on what color to choose when doing eyeshadow. So I'm just going to go in, and when you're applying shadow, there's real no...really no rule. Use what you like. Use a technique that you love. And if it's for day, nice...a nice wash of color's all you need. So open your eye. Perfect. Now, as you can see, we just went in with a nice, shimmery mauve color on her eye, and it also enhances and brings her eyes out. And again, look in close -- the color that I chose is also in the eye itself. Remember, there's tons of colors to choose. Make sure whatever you use complements your eye color. My name is Sylvia Russell. Thank you, and come again."
