Hi you are about to embark on a great great idea. Something that you will probably never use before. My name is Sylvia Russell and I'm going to show you how to use lip primer. Now maybe no one ever told you what a lip primer was or maybe you have never asked but I'm going to show you how to get a beautiful perfect lip using lip primer. Now lip primer is something that you use on the lips for several reasons. The first one is if you have a lip that is darker than the other, sometimes people have a light lip down on the bottom, a dark lip at the top and when you apply your lip color it is not the same so what you want to do is apply a lip primer. Primer comes in different shades and what it does is help give you an even tone on both the top and the bottom of your lips. Now they can come in light browns, light pinks, dark pinks, dark browns, you want to make sure that you get a color that will show the real shade of the lip color that you are about to use. As you can see here I am saturating the lip and virtually changing the color of her natural lip. Of course if it is lighter it is better because if you think about putting a color on something white you are going to get the natural shade of that color. The second thing is that lip primer will help stop your lip stick from feathering throughout the day. It acts as a moisturizer and also allows your lip stick to stay on longer. Now that she has that we can go ahead and apply her lip color. Now this will just help her lip stick stay on longer but it also will give her a nice even tone on both top and bottom lips. So you don't come with two different colors. A lot of times your lip stick just doesn't come out the shade that you hope it will. So once you get your lip stick on and you achieve the color that you want, you can finish up with any lip gloss. Now remember if you want a true shade you want to stay with a clear lip gloss.
