"Hi there are many women out there that have problems choosing a lip color for African American skin. So my name is Sylvia Russell and I'm going to show you the best way to do this. Listen there was once a time when African American women thought that they could only wear grape and purple and red. But this is untrue. Today there are so many colors on the market that will compliment your skin tone. Lets take a look at some of the ones that we have here. Now there are some ruby reds, there are some mauves, there are some peaches and some grapes. You just have to find out which color is best for you. Now when you decide to select a color, make sure that you have a lip primer. Sometimes a lip primer can help even out the color of your natural lips. If you have a lighter lip on the bottom or darker lip on top, you may need a primer or a lip concealer to help even out the tone of your natural lip. Once you even out the tone of your natural lip, you will get a truer new color and a beautiful new look. Remember there are many colors to choose from so don't get stuck on just one thing, find something that gives you a beautiful smile and something that makes you look above all the rest.
