"Welcome to the Texas Music Museum. This is a project that actually began in 1984. See right over here, here's a poster related to Tary Owens. Tary Owens will be one of the first ten people that will be inaugurated into the new Austin music memorial. Terry is basically a amateur, a folklorest and such and did a lot of research related to the early Blues and Gospel, and other performers. Just helped so many people that became well-known and get recognized. Terry also was a musician himself and such. By the way he was on our board so we miss him like everyone in Austin for all the wonderful things that he helped us with and all the wonderful musicians. Of course we talk about Blues. Stevie Ray Vaughn. Of course if you're visiting Austin almost everybody wants to go and visit Stevie Ray Vaughn's statue down on Town Lake. Of course another winner for the first ten people in the Austin music memorial is Doug Sun. And of course, all the way back, this is somebody who's first recordings were on 78's and he was called "Little Doug". He did so much for Austin, Texas and I guess actually the world in Texas Blues Music."
