"Do your nails and hair break easily? If so, what you eat or don't eat may be the cause. I'm Isabelle Simon, your personal and workplace wellness consultant, and today we are going to learn how to improve your diet for your hair and your nails. Two things to keep in mind. For your hair, your hair needs lots of omega-3 fatty acids to be shiny, grow nicely and fully. So, you may wonder, great. What type of foods contain those items? Very simple, fatty fish, cold-water fish; namely salmon, halibut, sardines, you know, other things like caviar. All this are very high in omega-3 fatty acids. Eggs are also a very good thing to eat for your hair. Now, for your nails, nails are mainly made of carotene which is a type of protein and iron. So, you will want to increase your intake of foods that contain those items. Protein that's a given; fish, meat, eggs, but also nuts contain protein. Iron; green leafy vegetables are very high in iron and also nuts. Lentils are a very good choice. So, if you are ready to eat yourself gorgeous, eat plenty of protein. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and you've got your formula. I'm Isabelle Simon, and this is what you eat and drink to have great hair and great nails."
