"Have you been trying to get pregnant or are you nervous to know if you're pregnant? I'm Dr. Jill from Tampa, Florida telling you how to pick a pregnancy test. It seems pretty simple right? Go to the store, grab one, check it. It's not that easy. There are lots of options out there and all of them are about 97% accurate. My recommendation make it easy. You want a no brainer. You don't want to say one stripes, two stripes, if it's right you want to make sure it says pregnant, not pregnant, smiley face, no smiley face, pink pregnant, blue, not pregnant. Make it easy. And I also would take a kit that has two pregnancy tests in it. You are going to be nervous and excited, you want to make sure it is real. You can use the second strip. The other thing is what if you tested too early? You missed your period, you tested the day you missed your period, I'd wait another week and then you will have an extra test to try again in one week. Your first one could be negative, your hormonal levels build and then that second one could be positive. I'm Dr. Jill from Tampa, Florida telling you how to pick a home pregnancy test."
