"Are you suffering from an acute case of narcolepsy? Falling asleep at work, not sure what's happening? Well that's fatigue in pregnancy. I'm Dr. Jill from Tampa, Florida here to tell you how to do you deal with fatigue in pregnancy? Well there really is no way to deal with fatigue. It's going to happen no matter what you do. I recommend doing a couple of simple things to improve that fatigue you are feeling. In the first trimester you are going to feel like you have been hit by a Mac truck you're not really sure why you're so tired. Well all those extra hormones, exercise, eat well, lots of fluids, that can improve some of those symptoms you are feeling. As you get further along in the pregnancy you are not going to be sleeping as well, insomnia kicks in and it's going to affect you. Well same thing as the first trimester and try to get extra or plenty of rest. There are medications that you can take and you need to talk to your healthcare provider when you are not sleeping so well because believe it or not a good night's sleep makes you feel less fatigued during the day and getting on a regular pattern will improve this. I'm Dr. Jill from Tampa, Florida telling you how to deal with fatigue in pregnancy."
