"Are you a vegetarian? Do you want to get pregnant? Is it safe? I'm Dr. Jill from Tampa, Florida telling you how to be a pregnant vegetarian. It is very safe to be pregnant and vegetarian. You just have to make sure you eat the right amount of foods. Same as a nonvegetarian, you know which foods have protein in them, your beans, certain vegetables, brown rice. All of these things can add to your diet where you would be missing from let's say the nonvegetarians were eating, the meats. You also can make sure you take your prenatal vitamins and extra supplements like the B vitamins to help insure that you have a normal pregnancy.
