"Are you crying when you are watching Hallmark commercials? Are you all of a sudden tired and not understanding what is happening. You could be pregnant. I'm Dr. Jill from Tampa, Florida, here to tell you how to find out if you're pregnant. The most obvious way to find out if you are pregnant is to know that you are either trying or you had unprotected sex. The second thing is that you might miss your period. That would be the most common way for you to know whether you are pregnant or not. There are other ways, other signs, other symptoms that you might be experiencing that also can give you a little bit of a tip, breasts swelling fatigue, irritability, changes in your emotional state, all of these could be signs that you are pregnant. So how do we find out? The most common way initially is to go to the drug store and buy yourself a pregnancy test. There is a ton of them out there and I recommend pick the easiest one, pregnant, not pregnant. You don't want this to be a guessing game. The urine tests which are testing for the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin, HCG. They are about 97% accurate from the drug store. I recommend picking the easy one and also pick one that potentially has two pregnancy tests in there. You might not believe the first one and want to do it again to confirm or in my situation when I got pregnant I had my mom urinate on the stick so we both knew she is not, I am. That would be the easiest way. If you can't get to the drug store to get your pregnancy test you can go to your health care provider and they can provide one for you as well as also a blood test if for some reason the urine test wasn't sufficient or maybe too early. So check with your healthcare provider to find out if you are pregnant. I'm Dr. Jill from Tampa, Florida telling you good luck with your pregnancy."
