"Hi everyone, I'm Russ Handler, travel agent and travel expert. You know everyone asks me, Russ, how on Earth do I get the best fare on travel. Well, there's a couple ways to do it. You could either book far in advance to ensure a reasonable rate, or you can book just slightly in advance at last minute deals on the Internet. Last minute deals are all over the Internet. But watch it, they might not be the best deals. They might call them last minute, but they might not be the cheapest. Also, check with the carrier directly before you go to any of the outside services and ask them if they have any last minute deals or planes that they need to fill and they might just offer you a good deal to go ahead and take the flight. Buying cheap airfare is not impossible, but I like to refer to it as competitive airfare as opposed to cheap. Because there's no such thing as cheap when it comes to airfare. Keep in mind that on top of your ticket price, some search charges, and baggage charges may apply so do your homework and search the Internet and call your carriers in advance to see what they might be able to offer you. I'm Russ Handler, and that's how you do it."
