"Hi everyone, I'm Russ Handler, travel expert. You know there's nothing more enjoyable than a getaway to the Bahamas. What a gorgeous place on Earth to go, but did you know theres a couple things that you need to get in advance and to pack before you get there? The reason why I say that is, these items will not only save you money if you purchase them in your hometown, but they'll also make you a lot more comfortable once you get to your destination. First thing I always take when I'm visiting any of the islands in the Bahamas is sunscreen. I'm going to use this from the morning until the night and so will you. You're going to need plenty of it for you and your entire crew that you're with so keep that in mind. Secondly, I recommend some bug spray for the evenings and for some of those daytime excursions, if you're going to be heading inland. Now the reason why I suggest the big bottle for the family is you head out in the evening, but also a little compact bottle you could put in your back pocket. It's all about the beach. Whether it's going to be the beach next to your hotel or others. So comfortable shoes for the beach are a must. Sudden rains can effect you, as well, if you're at the market. So a compact rain poncho purchased in advance will save you money. Keep in mind you'll need some good comfortable shades and a hat. And just some of the items that you will need for your successful trip to the Bahamas. I'm Russ Handler and that's how you do it."
