"Hi, everyone. I'm Russ Handler, travel expert, and one of my favorite places to visit is Clearwater Beach, Florida. But, there's a few things you need to know before you go. First of all, when packing for Clearwater Beach, there are two essential items that I'm going to suggest that every traveler must have. Number one, lots and lots of sunscreen for those long, hot days on the beach or even on John's Pass Boardwalk. Wherever you are, you're going to need sunscreen from sunup to sundown. Once the sun goes down, you're going to need bug spray. Yeah, it's going to be a bit of a smelly experience, but if you get the right stuff, you'll be able to manage. I suggest you get this stuff in advance. It's very expensive there on that small little island which is Clearwater Beach. Another item you're going to need is a hat to keep that hot sun off of you in the daytime. It's going to be very essential. You'll also want to have a map of the local area and the attractions. This is going to be very helpful for once you get there. You don't want to first get to your destination and decide where you want to go. You want to have this in advance, pack it. And another thing, when visiting Clearwater Beach, have yourself an emergency rain poncho during the summer months. We get those evening thunderstorms, could get you stuck at any time, so make sure that you get a little compact little rain poncho that could refer to should it rain. I'm Russ Handler and that's how you do it."
