"Hi everyone, I'm Russ Handler, travel expert. You know I've traveled the world a couple times and it's a lot of fun, but over packing can be a real burden, so here's a couple of tips on how to create a packing list for your trip. First of all you want to decide how many days you're going to be gone, how many nights you're going to be gone, where you're going to be staying, and when, in other words if you're not going to be a hotel that has a pool, you don't need a bathing suit. But what you do need is the bare essentials. So, on your list should be just enough of the toiletries that you are going to need for your stay. Keep in mind that many of the hotels also provide a lot of this stuff, so a small amount will be sufficient. You'll want to plan for your clothing. One pair of underwear a day, one pair of socks a day, maybe a few extra. Remember you could always buy as you go and as you need. But over packing could be a burden in advance. You want to pack any personal sound devices or computers that you might want to have, and of course you're going to want to include on your list any sort of leisure activity things that you want to have as well. But when making a list, consider how long you're going to be gone and the bare minimum that you need. Remember you could always buy once you're at your destination, but the biggest thing you want to avoid while making your packing list is over packing and potentially being charged for extra baggage. I'm Russ Handler and that's how you do it."
