    "So how do you get ready to perform belly dancing? Hi I'm Johanna Krynytzky with Hip Expressions Belly Dance Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida. So how do we prepare before we perform. There are a number of things you want to do. If you're going to go a performance, you want to make sure you pack your bag, good done your list, even have a little list next to your bag of all the things you need to perform; that you make sure that you have every with you. You also need to stretch out and warm your body up. So you don't want to just suddenly go from sitting at your desk or doing whatever to then suddenly out on the floor challenging your body. So you want to warm up your body. When you get to your gig, go back stage, stretch out, warm up, practice your isolations, do a couple of drills, do some stretching. Do what ever you need to do to get your body ready to perform. Now remember now, while you're are performing, you want to smile at people. So get ready to have that energy going out to your audience. You don't want to belly dance in here, you want to belly dance to everyone. So you have to prepare mentally to entertain everyone, smile at everyone and engage ever one in the room. If you have a little ritual like that before you go out, then, when you go out on the dance floor, you'll have any awesome performance and everyone will think that you're just wonderful.
