"Hello, my name is Gabriela Garzon and I'm an image consultant with G.G. Image and Etiquette Consulting in Coral Gables, Florida. In this clip, I'm going to show you how to pick the right clothing pieces for your figure type if you're a petite. Now, right now what I have here, it's a petite woman who is wearing a dress. Now, what you have to notice here is that the dress should hit exactly the mid-knee for her not to look smaller or overwhelmed with a lot of clothing. The next thing that you have to see is that although she is wearing a, you know, a complete dress, I put her with a small type of vest that will break her, instead of like giving her a little waist because of her rounded figure. Now, the next thing that you have to know is, that if she's wearing a small dress that hits the knees, she should leave this free of anything if she's wearing a vest. If she takes it out, then she should be wearing something that comes all the way over here so it elongates her. If you're also a petite, you should buy jeans that are exactly the size of your leg length. If you cannot tailor them, you should pick them in short or petite. Just go ahead and buy things in petite stores. And, of course, remember to wear stripes down, lines, so it give you an elongated, thinner type of visual look. Again, this is Gabriela Garzon at G.G. Image and Etiquette Consulting."
