Fashion design is a burgeoning industry, responsible for everything from plain, white T-shirts that come in bags of three to high-profile haute couture fashion on the runways of New York, Paris and Milan. A fashion designer often begins with an inspiration or theme in mind before filling fashion croquis with illustrations of collection items: skirts, jackets, lingerie, hats, etc. After weeding through the many rough sketches, a designer finds the best garment ideas and creates cleaner illustrations with notes on fabrics and hems for the manufacturer. Fashion design allows aspiring artists a career of creativity, tangible results and glamour. "Hello, my name is Gabriela Garzon, and I'm an image consultant with G.G. Image & Etiquette Consulting, in Coral Gables, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to dress for overall success. Basically, we all need to know, that we make a first impression, in the first fifty seconds, that somebody meet us, when we meet somebody. They make a complete impression of who we are, what we do, and our status,so that's why it's very important that we learn how to dress well, to have success in relationships, at business, and basically at anything that you do, in your life. The first thing that you need in your house, is a complete body mirror, so you can look at yourself, from every angle,and you can see your clothing, how it drapes, how it looks, if it's dirty, if it has good tailoring. One thing that we all need to be aware of, is that you should not hang into sizes. You might as well just wear things that fit you well, so your body and your body type, looks best with anything, anything that you wear. Once again, before you leave your house, to whatever it is that you're going to do, look at yourself in the mirror, from every angle, that way you'll know that you're looking good, for every day success.
