"Hi I'm Donna Barnes I'm a life and relationship coach and owner of NY Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip we'll talk about how to get somebody to buy you a drink. Well if you are a pretty girl, that's not hard. But when you first walk into the bar, go stand near a group of people that are ordering drinks and things like that. Smile and interact with them. You might have to buy yourself the first drink but if you can get involved in a conversation, if someone says hi to you say hi back. Strike up a conversation and just kind of mingle, get close to people who are out and drinking and the only thing I want to caution is don't flirt. If you are not genuinely interested in somebody don't flirt with them to get you to buy you a drink. That's foul play. It's certainly fine to chat with somebody and be polite and have a drink with them. But don't lead them on if you are not genuinely interested. And if someone buys you a drink it doesn't mean you have to stand there and talk to them all night. Just make sure you always say thank you. It's definitely courteous. So walk around mingle, get close to the people that are ordering drinks and somebody will buy you a drink. This is Donna Barnes life and dating coach in New York City."
