    "You have been running a business for some time when you learn that you may be able to limit your liability in running that business if you form a corporation. Hello, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer the question "how to start a corporation?" Well, this of course, is going to vary from state to state so one of the first sources that you may wish to check is your state's Secretary of State's office. Many times a Secretary of State's office has the information that you can download online and you can actually start your corporation by incorporating through this process. If you feel comfortable doing it yourself, that's certainly one way. Then, there are the services that make a business out of assisting individuals in starting corporations. And, these can be found both online or in the yellow pages of your local phone book and sometimes in the classifieds in your local newspaper. Then, if you really are uncomfortable in starting your corporation and you want to be sure it's being done right, that the T's are being crossed and the I's are being dotted, you may want to consider hiring a lawyer that specializes in assisting individuals and starting corporations.
