"You and a business associate have discussed going into business together and you've decided you want to do a partnership. And if you are going to have a partnership you want to have a formal written partnership agreement. Hello I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer the question how to make a partnership agreement. Well where there are many online services and there are many legal forms companies that can supply you with sample partnership agreements unless you have drafted a partnership agreement for yourself previously or you have been involved in the process of drafting a partnership agreement we strongly recommend that you seek the services of an attorney that does this type of legal practice. The partnership agreements are generally governed by the uniform partnership act and the revised uniform partnership act and you have to check with your specific state to determine which act applies to your business in your state. So again we would strongly recommend that unless you have experience in this area that you hire a lawyer who does. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
