"I'm going to show you how to make a Red Alert. And this drink gets its name from the slow gin and I think you'll understand momentarily. Start off with your ice. Pour that into your glass. I like to rinse my ice first so it doesn't taste gross because my freezer is funky. So pour some water onto your ice, flip it upside down, strain it in your kitchen sink and then all of a sudden your ice tastes good and no one's going to know that you have a six month old chicken in your freezer like I do. Alright, we're going to add into our ice one and a half ounces of tequila. Any brand will do, so choose your favorite and that's what you should use. To that we are going to add one and a half ounces of banana liqueur. And I'm using a jigger to pour this. This side is one ounce and the other side is half an ounce. You can get this at a liquor store or any bar supply store. Okay, then we're going to add one ounce of sloe gin. Uh oh, uh oh, wait for it, wait for it. Red alert. There is is. That's where we get the color. Shake it up. We're going to pour this into a cocktail glass with our handy dandy strainer. Um, um, um, that looks fabulous. Ladies and gentlemen, red alert. Cheers."
