"This is a traditional cocktail, called a Whiskey Collins. Now, we're going to make this one with the original ingredients, as it was intended. We're going to be using powdered sugar, and the juice from a lemon, as opposed to sweet and sour mix, but if you don't want to get creative, and use the sugar and the actual lemon juice, sweet and sour mix will substitute, and of course, the main ingredient is whiskey. Now, we're going to build this into a shaker glass, and chill it first, so let's start with that. Then, it's going to be two ounces of blended whiskey. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Now, we're adding our powdered sugar, about a teaspoons worth, and our juice from half a lemon, like so. Now, we're going to shake this up well. I'm going to strain this over ice, into a tall Collins Glass, but we're not finished yet. We're going to top this off with some carbonated water, club soda, as it's also called, a lot of bubbles. You're just going to pour that, and fill it to the top. That's looking real refreshing now, and the garnish is what's known as a flag, and it's an orange slice, and a cherry on a pick. Into it as so. Throw our little straw in there, and mix those ice cubes up a little bit, like that. That is a sipping by the pool drink, if I ever saw one. Enjoy."
