How to Make the Trilby Cocktail Mixed Drink

"I'm going to show you how to make a Trilby cocktail. We're going to start off with our ice, pour that into your glass just like so, and then we're going to add in about three-fourths of an ounce of sweet vermouth. Now make sure you keep your sweet vermouth refrigerated because it will last a lot longer. Next, we're going to add in one and a half ounces of bourbon, and I'm using a jigger, j-i-g-g-e-r, to measure the bourbon. These are great; you can get them at a bar supply store or a liquor store. Next we're going to put in about two dashes of orange bitters, and you can adjust this to your taste; if you like more, just add more. Shake it up, and then we're going to strain this into a cocktail glass. Put your strainer on top, hold it on nice and tight, and strain it just like so. And there you have it, a Trilby cocktail.
