How to Make the Diplomat Martini Mixed Drink

"I'm going to show you how to make a "Diplomat Martini". We are going to start off with some ice and pour this into your glass like so and then we're going to get one and a half ounces of dry vermouth, that's one and a half. Next I'm going to add in a half ounce of sweet vermouth like so and then we are going to add in about a half a teaspoon of maraschino cherry juice, just a splash and then I'm going to add to this two dashes of bitters. There we go. Go ahead and shake that up. Lastly I'm going to take my chilled martini glass which I have right here. It's just a martini glass and in there I've got some ice and water and then I'm going to pour out my ice and water leaving me with a nice cold glass. Go ahead and strain this into your chilled martini glass and we're going to then garnish this with a lemon twist and a maraschino cherry and there you have it, a "Diplomat Martini". Cheers."
