How to Make the Girl Mom Warned You About Mixed Drink

"Today, I am going to demonstrate how to make a drink called The Girl Mom Warned You About. Now, this is a really complicated drink with five ingredients and it is going to be layered. You are going to do it in the martini glass. So, it is basically a shot or something that just, you know, you are doing for more of the culinary appeal. We are going to use grenadine. We are going to to use triple sec. We are going to use light rum. Midori and Blue Curacao. We are going to start with our grenadine and we are going to pour directly to the bottom here. Alright, we are going to be all doing all equal parts so you really want to try to get it as even as possible. So, there is your first part of this drink. Next, the triple sec. You are going to stick a cherry in right to where the grenadine is and you are going to pour the triple sec right onto the cherry. And, what it is going to do is it is going to keep it from mixing. Slowly pull the cherry out and s you can see already you have that layer. Next, you are going to take your light rum. You are going to pour that directly over the triple sec. Now, the color difference between these two is not going to be great, but there is going to be a taste difference. As you pull up, you can even see the line in between the triple sec and the light rum. Next, the Midori. You are going to pour directly on top of the light rum. As you pull the cherry away, it is going to blend right on top. And finally, you are going to top that off with the Blue Curacao. Pouring again over your cherry. Now, seeing as all of these alcohols are warm, you can see that it blended a little bit. But, if you keep everything chilled, you will have five distinct layers of color.
