How to Make the Strawberry Daiquiri Mixed Drink

"Alright the drink we're about to make is called Strawberry Daiquiri. And this is one of several versions out there. This is actually one where you don't need a blender. So if you find yourself stranded without a blender, just go ahead and make a Strawberry Daiquiri this way. I've got some ice and water in a martini glass. I'm going to let that sit while I make the drink, and then I'll get it nice and chilled. O.k., some ice in a glass, and measure out a half an ounce of strawberry schnapps, and we're going to follow that up with one ounce of light rum. And next we'll add one ounce of lime juice. Get my lime juice over here. And go ahead and squeeze in one ounce. And next we'll add a teaspoon of powdered sugar and finally one ounce of strawberries. Or you can just dice up a few strawberries or one strawberry and throw it in there. O.k., now we're going to shake it up. You want to do two things, get it nice and cold and make sure that you shake it enough that the powdered sugar gets dissolved in with everything else. Alright, take your ice water out of the martini glass and get your strainer and strain it in. And there you go. You have a Strawberry Daiquiri served up. Bottoms up."
