"This cocktail is called a Dolly O'Dare. Now while the name may sound Irish, there isn't anything that's really Irish in this, it's more like a martini. It's got dry vermouth, gin, with a little apricot brandy. Let's get started. You got a martini glass set up chilling to the side. You always want to try to chill your martini glass whenever possible. It helps keep the ingredients colder while they're in the glass. Take a shaker glass while filled with ice, and we're going to add equal parts, ounce and a half of each, of our gin and dry vermouth. Let's take our gin first. One, two, three, four. Now if you've often heard of somebody of somebody ordering a martini dry, that doesn't mean dry vermouth, that actually means less. So since we're adding equal parts of the gin and the dry vermouth here this is actually considered a wet martini. But it's not a martini, it's got apricot brandy in it. Right, okay, and our secret ingredient, apricot brandy, half ounce of that. All right. Let's give this a good shake. Ever have trouble getting your shake at the last separated from your shaker tin, just give it a good whack on the side, should free it up nicely. Dump out our water there, nice and cold glass, pour that in there, look at that. So the luck of the Irish with this one. Down the hatch."
