Youth Boxing Gear: Headgear

"Hi, our next clip is going to be based on finding the appropriate head gear for these youth boxers. The standard head gear in a medium size, this one in particular doesn't even come smaller, becomes a medium which is medium/large and then a regular which is a large/extra large. So this is a medium and I know it won't fit Otis, but we're going to just try it on just to see the difference here. Alright son, go ahead and throw that one on and see what we got here. Okay, what happens is naturally if he gets into the ring with that, it's going to be shifting around and it's going to be blocking his vision and he's not really going to get a lot of protection. So we have to take care of these young boxers. There's one thing about getting them hurt, we don't want to get them injured or we don't want to get them discouraged either. So what we've done is we got some smaller ones, some actual youth sized ones. You want to make sure the bigger guys don't wear these because they tend to stretch out. So why don't you go ahead and try this one on Otis? Just slide that one right on. See how that fits. Can't get it on? Okay, slide it right down. There, how's that fit? Is that a little bit better fit for you? Yeah. See then we've got some straps here we can tighten in the back. What we want to make sure is that when, when a punch comes into Otis' face, that it blocks right there as a punch comes in and we don't get that little nose right there. How's that?
