"Alright in our next clip, what we're going to do is we're going to discuss the mouth guards. And you should always train with a mouth guard in place. Because when it comes time to compete, you don't want the first time you wore that mouth piece, in the ring, to be the first time you wore it. You want to learn to breathe with it first, you want to do your shadow boxing with it, you want to do your speed bag, your heavy bag. Everything you do in the gym, you want to do with your mouth piece. So today we're going to show you exactly how to form a mouth piece. And you can see we have an adult mouth piece and a junior mouth piece, a youth mouth piece. And there is quite a bit of difference actually in size. And sometimes even with the youth mouth pieces, we have to do a little bit of a trimming on it. And it's o.k. to trim a mouth piece but I would highly recommend trimming it first. You know the user can slide it in his mouth. See how that fits over this. Put that right in there. O.k., now what happens is if we need to trim it, it's better to trim it now while it's still hard rather than trim it latter when it's soft and it's going to create a hard edge on it. Does that feel pretty good? O.k., why don't we take that out then. O.k., what I've done was I've boiled some water in the microwave. We don't necessarily stick the mouth piece in the microwave with the boiling water. We've already boiled some water for about two and a half minutes. Now we're going to take the mouth piece, we're going to drop it in to the boiled water. O.k., and we're going to let that sit about twenty seconds. I can literally tell when the mouth piece starts to shrink a little bit that's it's going to be primed for putting in to the mouth. We don't want to burn Otis's mouth here. What I've got is a bowl of cold water here also, so we're going to dump the mouth piece in to the cold water. We'll insert this in to Otis's mouth. We'll have him bite, suck, push and we'll get a formed mouth piece here. O.k., so that's about ready there. I'm going to pour that in to there. O.k., that isn't too bad. Here you go. O.k., now go ahead and bite down on it like we did before. Push on the sides. We want to get that mouth piece formed right over the gums.o.k. Go ahead and push then. Get your fingers right up there and push, push, like this. Suck all the water out, bite hard, push. We want to make sure that mouth piece is wrapped around those teeth. Alright, how's that feeling there? Feel good. Alright take it out. We'll dip in the cold water here a minute and see what we got. Oh my goodness, that's a perfect mouth piece right there, o.k. So alright, go ahead and take that back out and then you can put it right back in your mouth. Here, just go ahead and take it right out of there and put it right back in your mouth. Alright, there we go, perfectly formed mouth piece. Thank you."
