"The next exercise we're going to cover in our weight lifting for boxing program is going to be the dumbbell bench press. Dan. All right. Here you just need a regular bench with a couple of dumbbells. And with this you're going to either power lift or you going to do moderate weight with a fast explosive...explosive force. And now you just lay flat on the bench. And the starting position, your dumbbells are just above the chest on the side. And you raise 'em up. Put 'em together, almost touching, but not. Bring 'em back down to just above your chest on the side, and push 'em back up. This is going to help your chest, and this exercise can be done in an upper and...or an incline and decline press. Which the incline would help you with your...the upper pectorial region. And the decline will help you with the lower pectorial region. And you need this for your upper body strength and endurance. It's going to help you with your punches. And it's gonna...and it's just like, like throwing a punch. So if you want to do it with a fast movement, and then go really heavy you can."
