"Hi. My name is Dr. Art Bowler. And I'm a psychologist in Manhattan, New York City, where I have my own private practice. In this clip I'm going to talk about how to spot a compulsive liar. Compulsive liars are very difficult to spot. I don't believe that there are really many ways that you can spot a compulsive liar other than the following. Compulsive lie, compulsive liars tend to lie about everything. Even when they really don't need to. They lie frequently and often. Compulsive liars also believe their own lies and are often lying so much that sometimes they can get caught up in their own lies and forget what they told you before. So, looking for inconsistencies in stories may be one way that you can help identify a compulsive liar. Compulsive liars are people that you don't really want to be around. They are not people who are going to be in your best interest and are often very difficult to spot. So be careful where you place your trust.
