Overcoming a phobia is best done via visiting a psychologist. A psychologist will help you work through your phobic issue, by doing some behavioral modification, along with some cognitive therapy, related to your phobia. You'll want to know, why is it that you're having such a phobic or fearing reaction, to a certain object, way of being, or state? and you'll want to be able to run through that particular situation, with a psychologist, who can behaviorally help you move through it.
