So if this bat is a 32/30, then that means, that it's 32 inches long, and 30 ounces in weight. So all bats are both measured in ounces, and in length. A minus 3 or a minus 11 bat would be the differential between the length of the bat, a 32, and the ounces, a 29, so that would be a minus 3 bat. And that's how you determine bat size."
