"We're all done and thank you very much. You are always in the salon and you're always going places and you're getting your hair done and you never know what to give your stylist. Well my name is Sylvia Russell and I'm going to show you how to tip your stylist. Now tipping your stylist is customary. If you enjoy the presence of your stylist, if you enjoy the way they shampoo your hair, the style that they give you. If you enjoy being in their presence and in their salon then it sounds like you already are tipping your stylist but there are many of you out there who are not sure what is an appropriate tip. Now some people out there will say 15% or 17% is appropriate but this may not be appropriate for you so I like to choose how to tip my stylist this way. Do they give me really good service? Do they spend time with me and talk to me? Do they show me styles and consult with me and ask me what is best for me or ask my opinion on what I want done with my hair? Now if you have someone who doesn't have time for you or pushes you off to the side or gives you away to another stylist you may want to rethink the tip that you are going to give them but remember, giving a tip is customary. It is something that you do to show your appreciation and if you appreciate your stylist make sure to give her a tip. She'll know that you appreciate her and the next time you come your service will be even more enjoyable. My name is Sylvia Russell and this is how you can tip your stylist."
