"The next thing I'm going to show you is the four band EQ on Pro Tools. When look at the screen, I'm going to switch my one band EQ to my four band EQ. Looking at the four band EQ is basically the same exact thing. It has four different parts that I can take out. So you can actually isolate certain parts and change it. Now if you look at the very left side of it, there's different options for what kind of cuts can be taken out. These are shelves and things like that, and these are you know what I'm saying, these are bell curves. What you can do is you can still adjust the EQ of each part, and the frequency and the gain you know what I'm saying. On these side ones, it's not allowing you to affect the EQ, because it's not really just a point, it's kind of like the whole left side of the whole right side is being moved up and down. Those allow you you know to add more bass to the mix or add more treble to the mix. The two parts in the middle are more really for cutting or trying to boost certain frequencies."
