"Hi I'm Amelia and I'm going to show you how to wash your hair. First you wet the hair down. You want to make sure that you get it nice and wet to break up any styling product. Then you grab your shampoo for your hair type, emulsify it, and you always start shampooing at the scalp. You don't need to worry about shampooing all the hair because the shampoo works its way down. You just want to break up the oils and styling products that are on the scalp. Then you rinse that with cool water. And apply your conditioner. Before applying your conditioner you always want to make sure you thoroughly squeeze out the excess water, otherwise it'll dilute the conditioner and you won't get the full benefits. Emulsify the conditioner in your hands, and work it from the ends up. So shampoo, scalp down, and conditioner, ends up and just work it through. Use your fingers as a comb to pull out any tangles or you can keep a comb in the shower. I recommend that for people with naturally curly hair. And then again rinse with cool water. And that's how you shampoo hair."
