"Hi, I'm Amelia, and we're going to talk about how to straighten your hair. You always want to make sure that the hair is not completely soaking wet. Apply your product. Emulsify it in your hands really well, and when looking for a straightening product, you always want to make sure that it's got silicones in it, because what that does, is that actually coats the hair shaft, and helps to stop frizz, especially if your hair is on the thicker side. You want to comb that product through, to make sure it gets into every hair, and then you can use your dryer. I like to use a paddle brush. That gets that hair nice and straight, faster. Then, that straightening product has already got thermal protectants in it, so then I like to use my flat iron. I just grab a section of hair, and it doesn't have to be a really fine section, depending on how curly your hair still is, and I grab my flat iron. I always comb through that section first, and then comb it to set it, and that gets it nice and smooth, so that paddle brush has already done most of the work for you, so you shouldn't have to go over your hair too much, with a flat iron, and that's how you straighten your hair."
