"Hi, my name is James Flint. I would like to show you how you can copy files from your iTunes music library to a hard drive that's connected to the network. Now, all computers whether you're running a Macintosh or a PC are going to have different operating systems and they're all going to have different methods for connecting to a network. So for the sake of this video, I've already connected to a network, so, what we're going to do is we're going to open the place that we want to copy the files to, which in this case is this public folder. So I'm going to have that off to the left, and then I'm going to open my iTunes music library, it's under music, iTunes, iTunes music. And, so from here I could copy the entire iTunes music folder over this hard drive, or I could select a few artists. For the sake of time I'm just going to grab one album here, and all you have to do is drag it over to the network hard drive and it starts copying. And, what the benefit of this is now, these files are going to be available on the network, so, any other computer on your network that can connect to this hard drive will now have access to these songs. Granted, that they are not songs purchased from iTunes that would be copyright protected and locked, so, now you're going to know, these simple steps, really, to connect to external hard drive on a network and just copy your songs from your music library. So it's pretty simple, copying your library from iTunes to a network hard drive."
