"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to show you the importance of keeping your hair brushes and combs clean. We all have that favorite brush at home that's filled with hair. Well, if you leave all the hair in it, it does not work as well. So you want to make sure that you clean that brush, if not every day at least every few days. Because you don't want that hair to build up. On top of that hair building up, you also have product that also builds up in there. So, the best thing to do is when you get that hair in there, you just want to take either another brush or a comb. Find a brush it works better, and you brush down the other brush till you see that hair start to come lose, then you just pull it out. If you have any little stubborn guys that get stuck, and that doesn't happen so much in these, it happens more in these, you can take the pick of your comb and just run it through and that pulls them all out. It's OKay if you don't get every single one, but you want to make sure you get a majority of them. Because, again, keeping the hair in there tends to ruin the brush. If you get a little product built up in your comb or your brush, you want to take a warm bath, put them in a warm bath of just baking soda and maybe a little bit of dish soap and let them soak. You can let them soak overnight, or you can let them soak just for a couple hours, till that product starts to come off. Just scrape them clean with your brush or you can use a soft sponge to get the rest of that product off, place them on a towel and let them air dry. And, that's the best way to take care of your brushes and combs."
