"Today we're going to be talking about how to fine tune relationships, specifically, how to be a great girlfriend. Hi I'm Joe Cuenco I'm with family resources. Just how do you become a great girlfriend? Well in the words of Chris Rock men are pretty simple we basically want three things: we want sex we want beer and we want a sandwich. Not complex but there are different dimensions this is what I'm going to talk about. We really need our girlfriends to be supportive of us, we need someone to maintain our ego, make us feel better about ourselves, we need you to be supportive of the time that we need to spend with our friends, and deal with us help deal with our mood swings really understand us, we're a little bit of a complex beast from that perspective. But we do have a soft side, men actually do enjoy getting flowers, they do enjoy getting that special attention from their girlfriend. Getting a text saying, "Hey I'm thinking about you," or, "You're a really wonderful person," or you know actually getting giving giving the man chocolates. One of things that you shouldn't do is is be a flirt, most men absolutely do not want their girlfriend to be flirting in public or with with their friends. Give us attention make us feel like we're the most important person in the world, and the key dimensions love trust communication respect friendship these are all things that successful married couples have employed and it works in the singles relationship as well. Lastly, if you're really trying to understand how to fine tune your relationship, attend a workshop.
