"Today we're going to be talking about how to find relationships specifically how to be the good girlfriend. Hi my name is Joe Cuenco and I'm with Family Resources. Well just how do you become a good girlfriend? Well I'll just point you to something that Chris Rock said "men are pretty simple and basic, they want three things a beer, a sandwich and sex". Well it was, it's, it's almost as simple as that. But realistically what we want is somebody to maintain our ego, make us feel better about ourselves. We need space. We need balance with our friends and you need to be supportive of us, and be there for us between our mood swings and, and some of the things we happen to be dealing with. There's also special things that you can do for us. Guys really do actually appreciate flowers, a back rub, a text from time to time saying hey I'm thinking about you. And so there are real amount of little things you can do to really strengthen your relationship and show your boyfriend that you know how to become a good girlfriend. There's some taboo things like don't flirt, give us attention. Make us feel like we're the most important person in the world. And the important to mention such as with married couples love, trust, communication, friendship and respect. If you want to learn more there are work shops you can attend, Family Resources puts them on, marriage education classes.
