"Well looks like this battery is good. I'm James Computer Hardware Training Coordinator for InterConnection, and I'm going to show you how to replace a bad battery on your motherboard. Your motherboard is going to have a battery on it. They tend to be a style like a watch battery, this is your battery right here. Now if this battery goes bad, your bio-settings, which is your computer basic input output system, is going to forget everything. Because this is what holds it's memory. So you need to make sure if this thing goes bad, your computer doesn't boot up properly, or something similar to this. That you replace this battery. To do this, you'll notice there's a little tab right here. If you push this little tab out of the way, sometimes it actually helps to use a small little screwdriver just to push out of the way. Very carefully, it'll just simply pop up, like so. Remove the battery and you install a new one. Here's our new battery. You're going to make sure the positive side is facing upwards, and you also want to make sure it's the right size. Luckily most of these batteries tend to be about the same size, however verify the model number on your old battery to your new one, just to be sure. Now once you're ready to install your battery, you slide it in like this. There'll be a couple of little prongs that don't move, part of the plastic. And then you push it down, your battery is now installed. I'm James Computer Hardware Training Coordinator for InterConnection."
