Video Transcript

"One place that you have to see when you are in Vienna is the Hofburg. The Hofburg was a winter residence of the Hofburgs and the oldest parts of it are over 1,000 years old. That is where they lived in the winter time and they had quite an extensive family. Maria Teresa for example had 12 children. Each child had their own bedroom and people to take care of them so sometimes there were over 1,000 people just taking care of the Hofburgs. The newest part of the Hofburg is the Newburg called Helton Plots or Hero Square. They have a statute of Prince Organe there and a statue of France. France was the first general who was able to defeat Napoleon and the battle took place just outside of Vienna at a place called Aspern and it proved that Napoleon wasn't invincible. Soon afterwards he won again and Vienna was taken and Napoleon moved into Vienna."
