"Hey welcome. My name's Lars Erik Robinson and I'm drawing a cat here today. I thought we'll talk about the shapes of a cat. I thing most of you guys realize that cats can be kind of chubby. We're going to do a chubbier cat here today. And cats are all about circles except for the ears basically which I start out with the ears here. That's the only triangular part. Get the little eyes here going. So inside here, I'll show you with my pencil inside you always think about the inside out on drawing. Which may it looks like I'm drawing from the outside but here's one circle, here's another round circle for the body and you know what, you're right there's more triangle shapes down here by the legs. This is like almost like a triangle here where the legs are sitting up when its sitting down. So here's his nose, little tongue sticking out, little whiskers. So the circles shapes again overview. We have the legs coming out and there's also triangle shapes which I didn't think there was at first but sometimes when you just start drawing things evolve. And that's the most wonderful thing about drawing. Sometimes you just sit there and just let it go and just let your imagination role. Where's this, here's the arms, little paws and it has a tail. This one has a big fluffy tail. And sometimes as an artist you can't have any kind of particular dislikes or anything against cats. I'm more of a dog lover to get a little bit more personal. But cats you know, when I was at my friends house he has a cat and it was just creeping along and very quiet so you kind of want to get that kind of attitude like quiet stillness. That kind of freaked me out a little bit when I was at their house but. So just an overview. We have shapes in here. We have one circle, we have another circle here by the bid and then we have the main one here. So we have three circles. We might have one, two, and then one big triangle shape and there's your cat, the tongue sticking out. Well thank you guys. Hope that helped you guys out with how to explain the cat,how to draw a cat."
