How to Transfer Data From Old to New Computer

"Hi, I'm Jason, and today we're going to talk about how to get files off of old computers onto new computers. Since older Macs don't have fire wire and you can't connect via USB from computer to computer, we're going to be using, once again, the ether net cable and basically, what we're going to do is, we're going to hook that in to both computers so we go with Internet jack to ether net jack, and after we get that connection completed, what we're going to do is, we're going to go to our network, and this is on tiger, click on that and it's going to ask you for your name and password, and this is the name of the computer you're connecting to, and when you get that it's going to ask you if you want to connect to which folder, if there is a hard drive connected to this computer I would see that in this list. So, I'm going to connect to that, you can see it right here on our desk top, so here are the files on the Macro that we have access to. All these files we have access to have, pretty much, giving full sharing access to all of them, so, we're going to go into Jason, public, there's my drop box, and so I've got these in there for a drop box, so I'm going to go in and drag this title into there, and you see it transfers within seconds because the ether net is fast. So that's how you transfer file to file on the computer, it's just hooking both up with the Internet jack and then going to your network side bar here and connect to that computer.
