"Hi this is Jason and today we're going to talk about how to network computers. And the first thing that we want to do when we do this is make sure our file sharing is on. So we're going to go to our system preferences, click on sharing. And there it is person file sharing is on and that allows other users to access this computer on a network. Also important with file sharing are you got a shared folder you also want to take the permissions for that folder and make sure that it's a shared folder. So we're going to the user, well this would be you. Public, drop box and we're going to right click, get info. And we've already got this set up for others to read and write. So that folder's set up as a shared folder and its called drop box. So I'm going to go to the drop box on Bing's computer and drop a file to him. And what I need to do to get there is I'm going to go to the finder. I'm going to click go, connect to server. Browse and we can see there's his computer. And that's what we want there. And there's the drop box. And I'm just going to drag this file here into there. So while that's copying what we have here is we've got the black Macbook laptop hooked into the wireless router here and then Bing's computer is accessing the router through the wireless antennas here. So while that copies I'm going to grab a donut. And I'm Jason, Mac genius. Thanks for watching."
