"Hi I'm Jason and we are going to talk about designing a home network. Or setting up a home network here. And the easiest way to do this is to basically draw it out, which is the easiest way to start with anything. So I'm going to draw it out and I'm going to show you what's going on. So to draw and design your own home network basically you are going to have your modem which comes with your internet access here. And you are going to have a little wireless router here. And I'm going to hook up a home computer, a laptop that looks more like a bed then a laptop. But that's ok. And this is a printer that is a printer not a small boat. And basically when you design that, you can label these if you want. Router, cable modem, and what you are going to do with this, is this gives you a visual so you know when you go get your equipment, you need a cable modem, you need a router, you've got our PC, you've got our laptop and you've got your printer. And these are all, so you need a router that's got and incoming Ethernet jack, one, two, three ports on it. And it's wireless. So I'm Jason Mac genius and if you go to the store with your handy dandy little drawing, you'll know exactly what you need to setup your own network. Thanks for watching."
