"Hi I'm Jason Mac Genius and we are going to talk about how to choose a computer network hub today. Hub is actually kind of a fading technology and it's basically fused with one or two computers on a light system. And the reason for this is that when your computers connected to your hub and you've got another computer on a printer only one device can communicate through the hub at a time. So it's really not versatile for today's needs for a lot of people. So hubs are really only useful if you have a network where it's just going to be you and two computers. If you got a laptop and a desktop, and you have your hub and you are going to be the only one communicating with a printer that's connected to that hub then that's really the best way to go. If you've got five or six people on a network then we really suggest you go with a router because you can get multiple users that communicate at the same time on a router as well as share information on that router. And hubs tend to be kind of susceptible to data collision, is what they are called. So you have to worry about software for data collision detecting and stuff like that. As it's fading technology we suggest that you go with a router. Because a router is also has built in wireless, most of them now a days have built in wireless and we are going to talk about that here in a minute. So thanks for watching I'm Jason. Bye."
