I'm here to talk today, about how to become a dental hygienist. The first step in becoming a dental hygienist is typically completing a four year degree in, at a college or university. Typically, one interested in a career in health sciences such as dental hygienist, would do a course of study in science. Upon completion of the degree, one would go to a program "particul", applied to, and be accepted to a program specifically for training dental hygienists. This is typically an additional two year course of study. Upon completion of your two year course of study, which includes practical work, you're ready to "pa", to sit for the exam to become a dental hygienist. If you pass the exam, then you will receive your certificate at, or licensure, depending on your state requirements, and are ready to practice as a dental hygienist.
