How to Choose the Right Hairbrush

"Hi, this is Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip I'm going to show you how to choose the right hairbrush for your client. Right here we have different kind of hairbrushes. This is a paddle brush and it's flat, you can use this for straight hair, curly, it doesn't matter, but you can use this, actually, for wrapping the hair and some people use it for blow drying really straight, when they're in a hurry. We have the round brushes that we use, also, for blow drying the hair, you notice how they have holes in there and it actually takes the air through the brush and actually dries the hair fast. I have smaller ones, you also have a flat bristle brush. There's different types, there's some that have tighter bristles than this. You can also brush this for straight hair, wrapping, just brushing hair softly. Actually, sometimes, I'll even tell young people to use this to detangle the hair when they don't have a detangling brush because it kind of is very open here and it's soft and it untangles the hair quickly. So, there's many different brushes out there, it's your choice and I think you're going to be fine if you use either one of these to do any of those things.
